... on first listen, and looking at the album’s title, one could be forgiven for wondering - Is this actually a band from the small country of Swizerland? Hard to believe, as there is nothing small in REDEEM's music. Far from it. The single “Promises“ demands immediate attention, and features - besides REDEEM's lead singer & mastermind Stefano Paolucci - additional vocals by H-Blockx's Henning Wehland. „999“ delivers catchy hooks, kick-ass beats, powerful riffs, affecting emotions, and – last but not least – a unique voice by Stefano “Saint“ Paolucci. This is how Rockmusic in 2011 is supposed to be ... (in case you were wondering why the UK’s own emergency services number provides the title of this album, producer Steve Power helpfully suggested bassplayer Pom Albisser call this number after getting lost in London to get more beer) ...
